Martin Schmidt, Archbold police chief, confirmed Tuesday that the man arrested Monday was Lesley Jerome Quarles, 33, Archbold.
Quarles is the proprietor of Darla’s Consignment Shop, 112 North Defiance Street.
As of Tuesday afternoon, Quarles was being held at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio on a charge of violating community control sanctions.

Martin Schmidt, Archbold police chief, said one person was arrested, but charges had not been filed as of about 4 pm, Monday, in connection with a search of a downtown Archbold business, Monday morning, Sept. 9.
Schmidt said Archbold police, officers from theMulti-Area Narcotics Task Force and Defiance County Adult Probation, and the Wauseon Police K-9 unit, searched Darla’s Consignment Shop, 112 North Defiance Street, and the apartment upstairs.
The search, Schmidt said, was part of an “ongoing drug investigation.”
Police did not have a search warrant, but a warrant is not required to search the property of a person who is on probation.
