Rebuilt after the fire of Aug. 31, 1913, Archbold was back on its feet serving hometown patrons in the days of horses and buggies. Few readers remember the hitching rails on North Defiance Street when mud was the surface of the street. The last hitching rails were removed along the Stotzer Hardware building on
