An Archbold police officer on patrol spotted and assisted a person with Alzheimer’s disease, Wednesday, Aug. 28.
The police report on the incident stated he was patrolling in Colony Meadows about 3:26 pm and saw the person, known to him to be an Alzheimer’s patient, picking up rubble.
The person said they were “cleaning up a mess.”
The report states the offi- cer took the person to his/her residence and given water. The person refused medical treatment.
A family member was notified, the officer said.
