No Injuries After Two-Vehicle Crash Oct. 27

There were no injuries following a two-vehicle crash on Co. Rd. C at 3:20 pm, Saturday, Oct. 27, a Fulton County Sheriff Department report states.

A car driven by Pamela S. Rash, 48, Archbold, was traveling east in front of her home at 21869 Co. Rd. C, when her auto was struck from behind by a car driven by Carol M. Bitzinger, 19, rural Napoleon.

Bitzinger was cited for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.

There were also some vehicle deer accidents reported:

•Tuesday, Oct. 30, 7:21 pm: Jacob Lee Aeschliman, 31, rural Fayette, was driving a pickup truck south on Co. Rd. 22 and hit a deer about a halfmile north of Co. Rd. D.

•Monday, Oct. 29, 10:43 am: Richard R. Vereecke III, 47, rural Wauseon, was driving an SUV south on Co. Rd. 20, and hit a deer about four-tenths of a mile south of US20A.

•Saturday, Oct. 27, 4:50 am: Thomas D. Herman, 59, rural Bryan, was driving a truck east on US20A and hit a deer about two-tenths of a mile east of Co. Rd. 24-3.

•Wednesday, Oct. 24, 7:35 pm: Patricia Ann Baumgartner, 60, Jackson, Mich., was driving a car east on St. Rt. 2 and hit a deer about twotenths of a mile west of Co. Rd. 16.
