Slade Nicholas Cupp, 23, Montpelier, was arrested by Archbold police at the apartments at 100 Bankey Ave. about 2:30 pm, Wednesday, Jan. 17.
Cupp was arrested on a warrant from Defiance Municipal Court, where records available over the Internet indicate he was convicted on a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
He was sentenced to two days in jail and community service in lieu of a $500 fine, $250 suspended. He failed to appear for a court hearing.
He is being held on a $5,000 bond.
The Archbold police log report on the incident states APD was assisting another law enforcement agency in connection with the case.
