Menacing, Harassment Cases Filed With Police

Three cases of menacing and harassment were filed with Archbold police recently.

A man told police on Sunday, June 3, his children, ages 8 and 10, were at Ruihley Park, when two persons in a pickup truck questioned them around 4:30 pm and 4:45 pm.

The pickup left the scene and drove west on W. Williams Street.

Nicole Marie Leyva, 30, Wauseon, told police a subject known to her threatened her while she was at the Pamida store.

The incident occurred on Thursday, May 31. Leyva reported it to police on Friday, June 1.

Joseph Alan Warner, 33, Archbold, told police on Sunday evening, May 27, he had received a threatening text message and a voice mail message warning him that he was in danger.

Police spoke to the persons who sent the messages, and advised them they are to have no further contact with Warner.

The matter was referred to the Fulton County Prosecutor Office.
