Men Warned About Shooting In Town

Archbold police warned two men about village laws prohibiting them from shooting firearms within the village on Wednesday, June 13.

Police were dispatched to the 900 block of West Barre Road about 8:33 pm, where they observed two men with rifles near the driveway of 940 West Barre.

The two were hunting groundhogs, the police report states.

An officer stated in the police report, “I advised the subjects that discharging of firearms in the Village was prohibited, and they left the scene.”
