A Wauseon man was sentenced Monday, Feb. 22, in Fulton County Common Pleas Court:
•Juvincio Rocha, 73; pled guilty to attempted failure to provide notice of change of address (Rocha is a registered Tier II sex offender); sentenced to four days at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, credit for time served; placed on three years community control; ordered to stay out of bars, taverns, not to possess or consume alcohol; failure to comply could result in 11 months in prison.
In another case, Rocha pled guilty to failure to appear on a personal recognizance bond. On Jan. 7, he failed to appear in court for sentencing.
He was sentenced to 42 days at CCNO, credit for time served; placed on three years community control; ordered to stay out of bars and taverns, and not to possess or consume alcohol.
Failure to comply could result in 13 months in prison, with the sentences to run concurrent with each other.
A rural Swanton man was sentenced Wednesday, Feb. 24, in Fulton County Common Pleas Court on a marijuana charge:
•Taylor Bryant, 21; indicted March 15, 2015, on one count, trafficking in marijuana; on Dec. 5, 2014, he transported marijuana to sell; guilty plea entered in December 2015; sentenced to two years community control, ordered to pay $200 fine, stay out of bars-taverns, not to possess or consume alcohol or drugs, abide by 11 pm to 6 am curfew, complete SEARCH program. Failure to comply could result in 11-month prison sentence.
