Men Sentenced

Sentences for felony-level crimes were handed down against two men in Fulton County Common Pleas Court, Tuesday, June 18:

•James Friess, 30, Toledo; previously pled guilty to theft; on Aug. 29, 2011, stole cigarettes from the US 20 Main Stop near Fayette; sentenced to six months in prison, ordered to pay restitution of $6,034.17.

•Timothy Miller, 37, rural Napoleon; previously pled guilty to attempted trespass in a habitation when a person is present or likely to be present; on Jan. 11, attempted to trespass at a residence on Co. Rd. H, rural Delta; placed on one year community control; ordered to pay $350 fine, cost of prosecution, have no contact with the victim or the victim’s residence, seek and maintain employment; failure to comply could result in six-month prison sentence.
