Tim Meister, outgoing Archbold High School principal, spoke of passion during his speech to the Class of 2012 during the AHS graduation ceremony, Sunday, May 27.
Passion is a good word for Meister to use, because he pursued the principal job with passion and intensity.
He isn’t merely an educator who rambles on about test scores and credit hours; he has proven to be not just a supporter, but a booster of young people, caring as much for those at the bottom as those at the top.
He has seen Archbold as a unique and special place, and has done more than his share to give students the chance to accomplish truly amazing goals.
In his years as AHS principal, he earned the respect of students, teachers, parents, and members of the community.
Meister is leaving Archbold to become superintendent of the Four County Career Center.
Based on his six years at AHS, there is no doubt he will push FCCC far forward.
The Career Center will improve dramatically under Meister’s leadership, and the community wishes him the best.
