Marie A. Rychener, age 84 years, of Archbold, passed away Monday evening, Sept. 27, 2010, at Fairlawn Haven Nursing Home in Archbold.
She was born Sept. 21, 1926, in Henry County, the daughter of Samuel and Sophie (Klundt) Buehrer, and married Lloyd Rychener on June 12, 1949.
A lifelong resident of the Archbold/Ridgeville Corners area, she was a nurse and worked at Fairlawn Haven for 22 years. She was a member of Archbold Evangelical Church.
She is survived by her husband, Lloyd; nine children, David (Joyce) Rychener of Tucson, Ariz., Susan (Dan) Neff, Phil (Terri) Rychener, both of Archbold, Ann Litwiller of Peoria, Ill., Dan (Janelle) Rychener of Archbold, Rev. Calvin (Susan) Rychener of Peoria, Ill., Donnie (Julie) Rychener of Phoenix, Ariz., Betty (Greg) Rahrer of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Brenda (Andres) Peterson of Archbold; a son-in-law, David Blosser of Waynesville, N.C.; 26 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, William (Donna) Buehrer of Napoleon, and Rev. Marcus (Jane) Buehrer of Mansfield; and a sister, Grace (Rev. Erwin) Coch of Strongsville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Carol Blosser; a son-in-law, Gary Litwiller; a brother, Robert Buehrer; and a grandson, Christopher Rychener.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Archbold Evangelical Church with Pastor Calvin Rychener officiating. Interment will precede in the Pettisville Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Fairlawn Chapel from 11 am-9 pm on Wednesday.
