Man, Woman Sentenced

A man and a woman were sentenced Monday, Aug. 5, in Fulton County Common Pleas Court:

•Richard Aker, 53, Wauseon; previously pled guilty to trafficking in drugs; on Dec. 8, 2012, he sold the prescription painkiller Vicodin at his residence; sentenced to 30 days at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio starting Aug. 13; placed on two years community control; ordered to pay cost of prosecution and attorney fees, pay $240 in restitution to the Fulton County Sheriff Department, stay out of bars/taverns, not to possess or consume alcohol or illegal drugs, abide by a 11 pm to 6 am curfew, complete treatment, seek and maintain employment; driver license suspended for six months, limited driving privileges granted; failure to comply could result in 12- month prison sentence.

•Kaylee Overmyer, 22, Morenci, Mich., previously pled guilty to theft; between Jan. 18 and Jan. 20, she stole a credit card from a Wauseon man; ordered to serve five days at CCNO, credit for five days served; placed on community control for one year; ordered to pay cost of prosecution, attorney fees, make $500 restitution, obtain or provide proof of a general education diploma, have no contact with victim; failure to comply could result in sevenmonth prison sentence.
