Donald Rison, 32, Delta, was sentenced to a total of 24 months in prison, after entering guilty pleas in connection with thefts from the area.

Scott Haselman, Fulton County prosecuting attorney, said in a press release Rison stole air conditioner units from homes in the Fox Chase Manufactured Housing Community in Archbold in September 2012.

The Archbold police report filed at the time stated three units, valued at a combined $5,000, were stolen sometime after midnight, Sept. 13.

At the time, officers said they had a lead in the case.

Rison entered a guilty plea to a single count of theft in connection with the case. He was sentenced to 11 months in prison, and ordered to pay $3,500 in restitution.

In an unrelated matter, Rison also pled guilty to receiving stolen property.

Two local churches, Zion Mennonite and St. John’s Christian Church, reported guitars, drums, and other equipment was stolen.

Haselman does not indicate in his press release if Rison is connected with the two Archbold thefts.
