Man Sentenced

During a sentencing hearing, Thursday, Jan. 25, in Fulton County Common Pleas Court, a Bryan man was placed on community control after serving over two months in jail:

•Brandon Grime, 22; indicted Oct. 16, 2017, on one count each, assault, aggravated possession of drugs, inducing panic, resisting arrest, theft from a person in a protected class; pled guilty to one count each, assault, aggravated possession of drugs; on Sept. 21, 2017, used methamphetamine and caused or attempted to cause physical harm to a police officer; served 68 days in jail; placed on two years of community control; ordered to complete his general education diploma (GED), have no contact with the victim, stay out of bars-taverns, not to possess or consume alcohol, abide by an 11 pm-6 am curfew, complete treatment and aftercare at Maumee Valley Guidance Center. Failure to comply could result in a 12-month prison sentence.
