Man Sentenced

A Wauseon man was sentenced Monday, July 28, in Fulton County Common Pleas Court:

Hal Dailey, 30; previously pled guilty to improperly handing firearms in a motor vehicle; on May 1, while being detained on a traffic stop, authorities discovered he had a loaded firearm in his car which was accessible to the driver without leaving the vehicle; sentenced to two days at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, credit for two days served; placed on two years community control; ordered to pay cost of prosecution, $250 fine, stay out of bars/taverns, seek and maintain employment, report all medications to his probation officer, take them according to directions, forfeit firearm to the State of Ohio; failure to comply could result in seven-month prison sentence.
