Man Indicted In Local Stolen Trailer Case



Darren S. Gaylord, 48, Toledo, was indicted in connection with a trailer stolen from the village of Archbold.

The trailer was taken from the Archbold Water Treatment plant sometime between 11:24 am, Nov. 24, and 7:45 am, Nov. 27, 2017.

In a press release, Archbold police said surveillance video caught images of the vehicle involved in the theft.

Representatives from Terry Henricks Chrysler-Dodge- Jeep-Ram assisted by identifying the type of vehicle in the video. With that information, officers were able to develop a list of locations to search.

Police located the trailer in south Toledo on Tuesday, Jan. 16.

Gaylord was indicted by the Fulton County Grand Jury, Monday, Feb. 12.

In a press release, Scott Haselman, Fulton County prosecutor, said Gaylord was charged by the grand jury with two counts of theft.

“He allegedly stole a trailer valued at more than $1,000 but less than $7,500, and a motor vehicle identification plate,” Haselman said.

There were 17 other persons indicted during the Feb. 12 grand jury meeting:

•Ian C. Ruffer, 28, and Haven L. Trucks, 21, both of Wauseon; each indicted on two counts each, aggravated trafficking in drugs, aggravated possession of drugs; three counts each, trafficking in drugs, possession of drugs; one count each, trafficking in heroin, trafficking in marijuana, possession of marijuana, possession of heroin, possessing drug abuse instruments; on or about Jan. 10, they allegedly possessed and prepared for shipment or transported seven different drugs; each also allegedly possessed instruments used to unlawfully administer, use, or prepare dangerous drugs.

•Wiliam C. Hisle, 27, Bryan; indicted on one count, possession of heroin; on or about May 25, 2017, al- legedly possessed heroin.

•Isaiah S. Gonzales, 26, Wauseon; indicted on one count, trespass in a habitation when a person is present or likely to be present; two counts, aggravated possession of drugs; one count, theft of drugs; on or about Oct. 28, 2017, allegedly trespassed in a residence when a person was present or likely to be present and allegedly stole prescription pain killer Oxycodone.

•Tomas Ramos III, 31, Wauseon; indicted on one count, possession of drugs; on or about May 1, 2017, allegedly possessed a dangerous drug.

•Dale H. Heller, 33, Wauseon; indicted on one count, aggravated possession of drugs; on or about March 17, 2017, allegedly possessed prescription painkiller acetaminophen-hydrocodone.

•William M. Wilson, 40, Osseo, Mich., indicted on one count, failure to appear on a personal recognizance bond; on or about Jan. 24, allegedly failed to appear for sentencing in Fulton County Common Pleas Court.

•Brent M. Casey, 31, Fayette; indicted on three counts, failure to reregister as an arson offender; on or about Nov. 8, 2015-Nov. 18, 2017, allegedly, being an arson offender, failed to reregister annually in person with the Fulton County sheriff.

•Brandon M. Swick, 31, Maumee; indicted on four counts, nonsupport of dependents; on or about Dec. 1, 2015- Nov. 25, 2017, allegedly failed to pay child support totaling $5,294.64.

•Angelo C. Iagulli, 26, Morenci, Mich.; indicted on one count each, possession of marijuana, trafficking in marijuana, tampering with evidence; on or about Jan. 29, allegedly transported marijuana or prepared it for shipment and tampered with evidence in an official proceeding or investigation.

•Thomas M. Hambleton, 57, Liberty Center; indicted on one count each, operating a vehicle while intoxicated, improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle; on or about Jan. 29, allegedly possessed a loaded handgun in a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

•Ali-Nasser M. Alkhalifa, 23, Kalamazoo, Mich.; indicted on one count, possession of marijuana; on or about Feb. 2, allegedly possessed marijuana.

•David F. Rakus, 49, Golden, Colo.; indicted on one count each, aggravated possession of drugs, possession of hashish; on or about Sept. 21, 2107, allegedly possessed hashish and THC.

•Maria Del Carmen Lopez, 33, Wauseon; indicted on one count each, tampering with records, grand theft; on or about Feb. 13, 2015-Aug. 10, 2017, allegedly tampered with records belonging to a governmental entity; also allegedly stole services valued at more than $7,500 but less than $150,000.

•Amber R. Bachelder, 37, Delta; indicted on three counts, tampering with records; one count, grand theft; on or about Nov. 18, 2015-Aug. 13, 2017, allegedly tampered with records belonging to a governmental entity and stole services valued at more than $7,500 but less than $150,000.

•Gordon K. Goin, 59, Delta; indicted on one count, improperly handing firearms in a motor vehicle; on or about Feb. 2, allegedly transported a loaded handgun in a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

•Aaron J. Buckenmeyer, 33, Swanton; indicted on one count, failure to appear on a personal recognizance bond; on or about Feb. 9, allegedly failed to appear for sentencing in Fulton County Common Pleas Court.
