Man Gets 12-Month Prison Sentence

Allen Pedigo, 22, rural Archbold, was sentenced Tuesday, May 28, to 12 months in prison in Fulton County Common Pleas Court.

Pedigo had entered a guilty plea to a single count of burglary on March 25.

He entered the attached garage of a Wauseon home on Sept. 5, 2012, and stole two wallets from a vehicle.

The Fulton County Grand Jury originally indicted Pedigo on two counts of theft, plus one count each of burglary and misuse of credit cards on Monday, Jan. 14.

Pedigo was arrested on Jan. 16, and has been held at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio since that date.

In addition to the prison sentence, he also was ordered to make $680 in restitution to the victims and a credit card company.

Another man was sentenced that day:

•Douglas Zalewski, 55, Toledo; previously pled guilty to theft; between Aug. 29 and Sept. 7, 2011, he stole computers and accessories from a Swanton computer store; sentenced to 11 months in prison, ordered to make $1,454.22 in restitution.
