James Allen Brian, 46, 506 South Street, is free on his own recognizance after he was arrested by Archbold police, Tuesday, May 5, on charges of domestic violence and failure to comply with the order of a police officer.
The police report states officers were dispatched to the 500 block of South Street at about 2:25 am, on a report of a possible domestic situation.
When they arrived, the exact location was 506 South Street.
“After arriving on scene and speaking with both persons, the male (Brian) was arrested on domestic violence,” the report said.
Tera Rogers, an Archbold police officer, said the charge of failure to comply resulted because Brian was “uncooperative” with police.
He was taken to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio. CCNO officials listed his address as “homeless.”
Brian appeared in Western District Court later that day, where he entered a notguilty plea and was released from CCNO.
The victim, Christine Renee Pelletier, 35, also of 506 South Street, suffered an apparent minor injury, the report said.
Rogers said Pelletier did not want medical treatment.
