Archbold police arrested one man on criminal trespassing charges and are investigating a second incident that involved an altercation.
Michael Duane Day, 44, was arrested by police on Monday, Jan. 28, after Day allegedly threatened the tenants at 100 Grassy Lane.
One of the tenants, identifi ed as a victim in the case, is Jessa Day, 19.
Tera Rogers, a police spokesman, confirmed that Jessa Day is related to Michael Day, but would not defi ne the relationship.
Police were called to the apartment at about 10:51 pm, and were told the tenants wanted Michael Day removed from the premises.
He was not on the apartment lease, officers were told.
Taken Into Custody
Officers said in their report they spoke to Day, who refused to leave.
He was taken into custody and taken to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio.
Records available from Western District Court indicate a preliminary hearing was held on Thursday, Jan. 31.
At that time, Day was released from CCNO on his own recognizance, on condition he have no contact with Jessa Day.
Officers were called to the East Gardens apartment complex at 7:52 pm, Sunday, Jan. 27, on a possible assault.
When they arrived, Dina R. Rohrs, 40, East Gardens, told police she and Stuart J. Humason, 47, Curtice, had gotten into an argument with a third person. That third person was told several times to leave the apartment.
A scuffle ensued, during which time Rohrs was allegedly pinned to the floor and suffered an apparent minor injury, the report said.
Shortly after, the unidentifi ed person and a second unidentified person left the apartment.
Police are investigating.
