Louise M. Keiser, age 83 years, of Archbold, passed away Monday evening, June 4, 2012, at the CHP Defiance Area In-Patient Hospice Center.
She was born June 23, 1928, at Morenci, Mich., the daughter of Elonzo and Ivah (Robinson) Overmyer.
She married Ralph Keiser on Jan. 9, 1946, and he preceded her in death on Oct. 24, 1975.
A resident of the Archbold area many years, she was a homemaker, seamstress and daycare provider.
She was a member of the Fayette United Methodist Church, Bryan Mother of Twins and American Legion Auxiliary Post 143 in Fayette.
She is survived by four children, Robert (Kristine) Keiser of Fayette, Gloria (Kevin Burnett) Pine of Waldron, Mich., Ruth (Greg) Fry of Delta, and Carol (Timothy) Figgins of Fayette; 11 grandchildren; 12 greatgrandchildren; and a sister, Mary Merillat of Fayette.
She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Ernest Miller; her husband; a great-grandson, Kellen Keiser; two brothers, Clyde and Russell Overmyer; two halfsisters; and a half-brother.
Services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Fayette United Methodist Church with Rev. Kathy Currier officiating. Interment will follow in the West Franklin Cemetery.
Friends may call at Short Funeral Home in Archbold from 3-8 p.m. on Wednesday.
