Local Racers Fifth, Sixth At Jackson

Tyler Herschberger, 12, Pettisville, was fifth, and Graeme Short, nine, Archbold, was sixth in mini-sprint cars at the Jackson, Mich. dirt track Saturday, Sept. 15.

They competed in the 250 cubic centimeter restricted class.

Herschberger was eighthfastest in qualifying, fourth in the heat race, and fifth in the feature.

Short qualified fourth fastest, finished fifth in the heat race, and was sixth in the feature.
