Several automobile crashes in the Archbold area were reported to the Fulton County Sheriff Department recently.
Winter road conditions were a factor in two.
•Thursday, Feb. 18, 6:49 pm: A pickup, driven by Kyle D. Link, 32, rural Fayette, was traveling west on Co. Rd. L and collided with a deer about a half-mile east of Co. Rd. 23. Link was not injured.
•Tuesday, Feb. 23, 3:10 pm: A sport-utility vehicle, driven by Lori R. Buehrer, 56, rural Stryker, was traveling north on Co. Rd. 24, and stopped at the Co. Rd. B-C stop sign.
A car, driven by Polly B. Albright, 58, rural Wauseon, was traveling east on Co. Rd. B-C. Albright entered the intersection and they collided. No injuries, no citations.
•Wednesday, Feb. 24, 8:38 am: A car, driven by Amanda Lee Hammontree, 16, rural Archbold, was traveling east on US20A when she went out of control due to ice, snow, and slush on the roadway.
She went off the right, or south, side of the road and struck a road sign about a tenth of a mile west of St. Rt. 66. No injury, no citation.
•Wednesday, Feb. 24, 9:26 am: A pickup, driven by Mark R. Robeson, 39, Archbold, with passenger Melanie A. Pursel, 42, same address, was traveling east on Co. Rd. B when he went out of control due to weatherrelated road conditions.
He crossed the centerline and went off the left, or north, side of the road, and struck a mailbox. No injuries, no citation.
•Friday, Feb. 26, 8:45 am: A car, driven by Daniel Sovachna Suon, 22, 25206 US20A, was backing out of his driveway when he collided with a westbound truck owned by Tri-Flo Inc., Archbold, driven by Gabriel J. Ruffer, 23, rural Stryker.
Suon suffered non-incapacitating injuries, but was not transported by a rescue squad. He was cited for failure to yield from a private drive.
