Members of the Archbold police and fire departments were treated to a steak dinner, Thursday, June 6, by the Archbold Lions Club. The event honored community police officers and firefighters and served as the dedication of the Lions Club Shelter. Built with funding from Archbold Parks & Recreation and volunteer labor from the Lions, the structure measuring 32 feet x 32 feet was completed in less than a month in October 2012.
