License Plate Reported Stolen

Jeffery J. Fleischmann, 44, 400 Buckeye Street, told Archbold police on Thursday, July 24, that the license plate was stolen from a trailer he owns.

Fleischmann told officers he went out to check the trailer lights that day, and discovered the plate missing. It was last seen July 10.

He believed the plate had been taken, that it had not become loose and fallen off the trailer.

He asked that a report be filed to prevent others from using the license plate.

Police entered the license plate in the National Crime Information Center computer system as stolen.

In another reported theft, Clayton P. Cameron, 41, rural Wauseon, told police on Tuesday, July 29, a chainsaw was taken from an unlocked vehicle which was parked in the 100 block of Vine St.

The theft occurred sometime between July 5-7.

Officers recovered the saw earlier, and were to return it to Cameron.
