Last week I was at Mc- Donald’s in Archbold eating my lunch when, a few tables away, an older lady spilled her entire glass of pop on the floor.
Almost instantly five young boys around the ages of 12 or so got up grabbed napkins and wiped up the entire mess for her and went and sat back down to finish their meals.
It was nice to see that kindness and compassion and respect for elders still exist in today’s youth.
As I witnessed this act of kindness I couldn’t help but realize that there are few communities where one could witness such an act like this.
My hats off to the kids and the parents of those children and the Archbold community.
