Alexa Leppelmeier, a freshman at Pettisville, won the girls Gray Division race at the Van Wert Cross Country Invitational, Saturday, Sept. 21.

The PHS girls team finished seventh out of 12 teams.

The boys finished sixth out of 15 teams in the Gray Division race.

“We had a very tough workout on Thursday– which you have to fit into your schedule from time to time. Alexa’s win in the girls race is a nice one, especially for a freshman.
