Lauren Rupp, a sixth-year pharmacy student from Archbold, was one of two students from the Ohio Northern University Raabe College of Pharmacy to be appointed to prominent national positions within the student committees of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP).
She was named to the Pharmacy Student Forum Education and Programming Advisory Group for the 2012-13 academic year.
A 2007 Archbold High School graduate, she is the daughter of Phil and Judi.
Five advisory groups exist within the Pharmacy Student Forum of ASHP: Community and Communications, Student Society Development, Leadership Development, Policy and Legislative Advocacy, and Education and Programming.
Each group consists of five students appointed by the ASHP president and serves to help the Pharmacy Student Forum Executive Committee.
The Pharmacy Student Forum Executive Committee aims to build relationships between the ASHP and pharmacy colleges across the United States by serving as a liaison, providing information to student society leaders, and helping to strengthen the activities and programs of each school’s Student Society of Health-System Pharmacy.
