Bill Barnhart, Archbold, owner of the Archbold Laundromat, has come to an agreement with another firm over damage to five of the washing machines in his business.
Barnhart told police on Wednesday, July 30, that a person washed towels with grease on them in the laundromat.
Signs in the business clearly prohibit washing greasy towels.
Damage to the machines was estimated at $500.
An officer spoke to a person at the scene who had washed the towels. He advised he was only carrying out his boss’ orders.
The officer wrote in his report that Barnhart “spoke to the company and has worked out an agreement that is suitable for both parties.”
