Larry Allen Lohse, 57, of rural Defiance, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 28, 2012, at his home.
He was born Sept. 22, 1954, in Wauseon, to the late Paul & Kathryn (Drittler) Lohse.
On June 2, 1989, he married Lisa (Schaffter) Lohse.
Larry worked in maintenance at Handy & Harman, Archbold, for many years and most recently worked for Sauder Manufacturing in Stryker & Archbold.
He was a lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church, Stryker.
Larry liked to garden, fish, and ride his Harley and loved to watch his children’s activities.
Larry is survived by his loving wife, Lisa; beloved son, Travis, 21, of Bowling Green; and 17-year-old treasured daughter, Tess, of Defiance; brother, Paul (Shirley) Lohse of Goodyear, Ariz.; and sisters, Linda (William) Hanawalt of Defiance, Shirley (Robert) Delbecq of Hicksville, and Mary (Dennis) Connor of The Villages, Fla.; a brother-in-law, Richard Weber of La Mesa, Calif.; mother-in-law, Janet Schaffter of Edon; brotherin law, John Schaffter of Hamilton, Ind.; and brother & sister-in-law, Jeff & Jamie Schaffter of Edon; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Weber.
A private burial will be held at a later date.
