Elaine Leininger, 67, rural Archbold, complained to Archbold police about a subject who was staying in a building she owns at 114 South Defiance St.
Leininger told police on Thursday, Aug. 5, of an unwanted person at the address.
When police contacted that person, they said they had been living there for about a year, and had nowhere else to go.
Leininger said the previous tenant had moved out, and the subject was not on the lease.
The officer said in the report the subject had established residency, and as a result, Leininger would have to go through the eviction process.
The suspect agreed to leave.
