“This is a tremendous honor for Kade, and he is certainly worthy of it,” said Dick Selgo, AHS head baseball coach.
“His baseball skills are outstanding, and his work ethic is off the charts.
“Kade has all the tools and talent of a great player. He hits for power, runs well, has a very strong arm, and is an excellent outfielder.
“He has been a tremendous influence on every player in our baseball program.
“The other part of this that people need to know about Kade is what a great young man he is. He is an excellent student, humble, and cares about others as much as himself.
“It’s a shame that Archbold fans did not get a chance to watch him play this spring. Our coaching staff wishes him nothing but the best in his future.”
