The newest addition at the Archbold Fire Department, a new Engine 102, arrived Friday, April 13. The German Township Trustees purchased the vehicle at a cost of $461,984, which included the cost of most of the equipment to outfit the vehicle. The tall tower on the truck cab is a remote-controlled floodlight system, which can rotate and tilt to light a dark accident scene.– photo by David Pugh
