The Archbold Junior Acme baseball team split a pair of games last week to stand 3-6 on the season.

Archbold 4, Tinora 3

Archbold hosted the Rams, Monday, June 17, and squeaked out a 4-3 victory.

Brayton Hobbs was the winning pitcher. In two innings he allowed no runs, struck out three, and walked none.

At the plate: Hobbs 2-3, Devon Morris 1-3, Ashton Kammeyer 2-3 RBI, Jayden Seiler 1-3, Masen Towns 1-1 RBI.

Napoleon 13, Archbold 8

Archbold traveled to Napoleon, Wednesday, June 19, and lost 13-8.

Morris was the losing pitcher. In 2 2/3 innings he allowed one hit, struck out six, and walked six.

Between Archbold’s four pitchers, 16 walks were allowed.

At the plate: Morris 1-3 RBI, Gavin Bailey 1-3 2 RBI, Towns 2-4 2 RBI.
