Jeffrey “Jeff” A. Nofziger, age 56, of rural Wauseon, passed away early Monday, Oct. 23, 2017, in Ebeid Hospice Residence, Sylvania.
He was born July 29, 1961, in Wauseon, to Robert F. and the late Clarice E. (Kollarick) Nofziger.
He married Tami J. McCance on Aug. 22, 2009, and she survives.
He was an employee of Tenneco for 24 years. Jeff was an Air Force war veteran serving as a law enforcement specialist. He enjoyed spending time with his family, his friends and he also enjoyed fireworks.
Survivors include his wife, Tami J. Nofziger, Wauseon; children, Jennifer Nofziger, Archbold, Jeffrey (Ashley) Nofziger, Cleveland, Tenn.; stepson, Joseph (Ashley) Strauss, Norfolk, Va.; grandchildren, Khalani Jane Nofziger, Brenden, Landon, Kaegen Strauss; father and stepmother, Robert and Helen Nofziger, Archbold; brother, Ed (Karen) Nofziger, Sylvania; stepsisters, Beverly Holland, Florida, and Jannel Watson, Texas; sister-in-law, Teresa Dunson, Wauseon; father and mother-in-law, Fred and Mildred McCance, Lyons; numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Clarice Nofziger.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 26, 2017, in Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home, Wauseon. Pastor Jason Clutter will officiate. Interment will follow in Lyons Cemetery. Military funeral honors will be accorded by Fulton County Honor Guard.
A funeral luncheon will follow the interment services Thursday in Lyons VFW Hall.
Friends may call for time of visitation with the family from 2- 4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the benevolence of the family.
