As the runners on the Tour of Duty 9-11 Remembrance run journeyed past Archbold and Wauseon Friday evening, they had one simple message.
“It is our duty to remember what happened on Sept. 11, 2001, and reinforce all that is good about humanity.”
That duty belongs to all of us. Say a prayer for those who were lost, for the survivors, for their families and friends, and for those who fight for our country.
Fly the flag.
After 9-11, this country was a sea of red, white and blue as Americans showed the terrorists we would not be destroyed. But, what has happened to displaying the flag?
Take time on Saturday to remember what happened, remember what is good about our country and our world, and remember to look forward to making this a better place to live.
