Archbold police are looking into the theft of a digital music player from youths in Ruihley Park, Saturday, July 19.
The children’s mother told police the children were playing basketball at the park when two suspects, whom they identified, took their bicycles and possibly a blue digital music player.
The children found the bicycles abandoned at Archbold Middle School, but the music player, valued at $350, was still missing.
Police located the persons at Woodland Park, who, while admitting to taking the bikes and leaving them at the middle school, denied taking the music player.
In an unrelated case, Michael Britsch, of the Archbold Dental Clinic, reported on Saturday morning, July 19, doors at his office had been tampered with by someone apparently trying to pry them open.
The clinic was not entered. Damage was estimated at $100.
