Archbold police have completed an investigation of a case of alleged domestic violence and-or assault that involved a sword.
Tera Rogers, a police officer, said the report has been forwarded to the Fulton County Prosecutor Office for possible charges.
Police were called to the East Gardens apartment complex about 10:56 pm, Friday, Jan. 12.
The victim is listed as Desiree R. Reyes, 32, of East Gardens. The report indicates she suffered an apparent minor injury.
The responding officer wrote in his report, “Upon arrival, I spoke with the complainant and the victim about what had transpired.
“The suspect had fled before law enforcement arrived. Photographs were taken of all injuries and all parties involved were given written statements…
“At this time, one of the victims stated that they believe the suspect also stole a bank card.”
The report indicates evidence collected included a “wood and metal sword with sheath” and a BB gun designed to look like a compact semiautomatic handgun.
