Information On Finalists For Principal Released

The Archbold Area School District has released the names and resumes of the six finalists for the position of Archbold Middle School principal.

The information was requested and obtained by this newspaper through the Ohio public records law and the Freedom of Information Act.

The board met Saturday, April 24, and selected Royal Short, Archbold native and AHS graduate, for the position. He starts the job Sunday, Aug. 1, at an annual salary of $71,300.

Stephen E. Arnold, rural Antwerp; Bachelor of Science, English education, minor in world history, Huntington (Ind.) College, 1991; Master of Science, 2001, Indiana University; administrative licensure classes, Bowling Green State University, 2002, 2005- 06. Employed by Antwerp Local Schools, 1991-present. Current position: junior-senior high school principal, 2005-present. Licenses: Ohio superintendent, high school principal, English teacher.

Michelle L. Bagrowski, Wauseon; Bachelor of Science, education, May 2003; Masters in Education Supervision, August, 2006, BGSU.
