The Pettisville School Board learned district income tax collections have increased.
Chris Lee, district treasurer, told the board the income tax collection for the third quarter of 2015 showed revenue was up over $36,000 from the same time last year.
“The tax is doing exactly what it was intended to do when it was proposed and approved,” Lee said.
“It is providing growth. It is a nice tool, and we (appreciate) the voters approving it.”
