Incidents Involve Juveniles

A juvenile reportedly left home and got in an SUV with a 22-year-old male sometime between 2 and 3:45 pm, Friday, June 14, an Archbold police report states.

The child’s mother told officers while she was out of the home in the East Gardens complex, the juvenile and a friend got into the SUV with a male, and was possibly headed for Harrison Lake.

Later, the mother reported the child returned.

An officer contacted the 22-year-old and advised him to have no contact with the juvenile.


In another case, Scott Skiver, 49, 406 West Street, flagged a police officer and reported a juvenile had deflated one of the rings on his swimming pool, reportedly causing half of the water to escape.

The incident occurred between 5:20 and 8:20 pm, Tuesday, June 18.

Police located the juvenile, who admitted the action. The youth was advised not to repeat the action, and was released to the parent.
