Two reports involving harassment were recently filed with Archbold police.
Officers were dispatched to East Gardens at 6:35 pm, Tuesday, Aug. 19, on a report of harassment.
They spoke to subjects who said six days ago, they had received threats on their lives from a former friend.
Officers examined text messages between the two sides, which contained multiple threats and were “profanity ridden.”
“All parties were warned for disorderly conduct, and were told if either side continued contacting one another, there will be charges filed,” the report said.
In another case, police were contacted by Steven K. Sheeks, 47, 506 South St., who reported that while he was mowing on Thursday, Aug. 21, a neighbor approached him, yelling, and using profanity.
Police spoke to the neighbor, who was advised to avoid Sheeks.
