Gun Taken For Safekeeping

Archbold police took a firearm for safekeeping during a rescue call during the early morning hours of Saturday, June 11.

The report states officers were called to Ryder Transportation by ALS-1, the Archbold-based Fulton County paramedic unit. The paramedic crew was attending to an injured subject.

The officer took possession of the person’s 9mm semiautomatic handgun, which was complete with a loaded magazine.

The officer wrote in his report he informed the injured person he could pick up his firearm at the police station.
