Grand Jury Indicts Local Man For Nonsupport

Oscar J. Gallardo, 40, Archbold, has been indicted on six counts of nonsupport of dependents by the Fulton County Grand Jury.

A press release from Roger Nagel, Fulton County prosecuting attorney, states the grand jury handed down indictments against 12 persons on Monday, Dec. 17.

The indictment against Gallardo states that allegedly, between Dec. 1, 2006, and Dec. 13, 2007, he failed to pay courtordered child support. He allegedly has accumulated an arrearage of more than $6,349.

Others indicted:

•John A. Andrews, 41, Wauseon; indicted on one count, menacing by stalking, one count domestic violence; allegedly, on Nov. 16, he assaulted a family or household member, and engaged in a pattern of conduct, causing another person to believe he (Andrews) would cause physical harm; while committing the offenses, indictment alleges Andrews had a deadly weapon on his person or under his control.

•Sean Leslie Owens, 24, Toledo, and Orlando Rashawn Williams, 24, Toledo; each indicted on one count trafficking in cocaine, one count possession of cocaine, one count receiving stolen property; allegedly on Nov. 29, they were in possession of more than five grams of crack cocaine, and sold crack; allegedly were in possession of a stolen vehicle.

•Matthew M. Rains, 40, Wauseon; indicted on one count, illegal cultivation of marijuana; allegedly, on Sept. 24, was cultivating more than 200 grams of marijuana.

•Armando E. Dearcia, 29, Wauseon; indicted on one count, escape; allegedly on Dec. 2, knowing that he was under detention, he broke or attempted to break detention; indictment contains specification alleging Dearcia was under detention for committing a misdemeanor offense.

•Earnest E. Smith, 64, Napoleon; indicted on one count each, theft from an elderly person and identity fraud; allegedly, between January 2003 and June 2007, he stole over $25,000 from an elderly person.

•Brandon M. Radulski, 24, Toledo; indicted on one count each, receiving stolen property and failure to comply with order or signal of a police officer; allegedly on Sept. 22, he was in possession of a stolen license plate and failed to comply with a lawful order from a police officer.

•Daniel P. Hubbell, 18, Millbury; indicted on two counts theft, one count forgery, one count identity fraud; allegedly, during September and November, he stole checks, forged them, and obtained more than $500.

•Anastasio Botello, 53, Delta; indicted on one count theft, one count receiving stolen property; allegedly on Nov. 17, was in possession of a stolen credit card.

•Megan M. Grant, 19, Swanton; indicted on one count, passing bad checks; allegedly between Oct. 1 and Oct. 10, she wrote four bad checks, totaling more than $500, knowing the checks would be dishonored.

•Alexander J. Foster, 30, Swanton, indicted on five counts, nonsupport of dependents; allegedly between Dec. 24, 2004, and Nov. 30, 2007, failed to pay court-ordered child support; accumulated arrearage more than $8,422.
