Glenn D. Wyse, age 76 years, of Wauseon, passed away Saturday afternoon, May 22, 2010, at the CHP Defi ance Area In-Patient Hospice Center.
He was born Dec. 26, 1933, at rural Wauseon, the son of Ira and Mabel (Mull) Wyse, and was a lifelong resident of the Wauseon area.
He was a farmer, and worked at the former Lugbill’s Livestock Auction on sale days for 18 years. He enjoyed working with and attending oil field engine shows.
He was a member of the Central Mennonite Church near Archbold, and the Maumee Valley Model T Club.
He is survived by a brother, Paul E. Wyse of Wauseon; and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Marilyn Wyse; and an infant brother, Daniel.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at Central Mennonite Church with Pastors Jeffrey Smith, Wanda Stopher and Bill Holsopple officiating. Interment will precede at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Pettisville Cemetery.
Friends may call at Short Funeral Home in Archbold from 3-8 p.m. on Wednesday.
