Girls Soccer Suffers First Loss Of Season

The Archbold girls soccer team suffered a 5-1 loss at the hands of Liberty-Benton, Monday, Sept. 9, at Archbold.

L-B is ranked sixth in Division II by the Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association.

Jesse Fidler scored Archbold’s only goal, off an assist by Alicia Hernandez with 12 minutes left in the first half.

The Streaks got back into the “W” column with a 9- 0 Northwest Ohio Athletic League victory at Bryan, Thursday, Sept. 12.

Mara Beck, Hernandez, Jensyn Garrow, and Fidler each scored twice, and Cassidy Wyse scored once.

Garrow and Hernandez each had an assist.

Archbold is 5-1, 1-0 in the NWOAL.
