Fundraiser Is Sticky Business

Dorothy Lambert, Archbold Elementary School principal, agreed that if elementary students could raise at least $1,000 for cancer research, she would allow them to tape her to a wall in the elementary school gym. Students raised over $2,000. She was taped to the wall during a Friday, Jan. 9, school assembly. Top: Deb Buehrer, left, helps fourth-grader Amber Gericke apply another strip of tape to Lambert. Aaron Rex, superintendent, told students Lambert would be left hanging on the wall over the weekend, but she was freed soon after the students left.–photos by David Pugh
