Four persons were sentenced recently in Fulton County Common Pleas Court:
•Kevin Demeter, 30, Wauseon; originally indicted Dec. 19, 2016, on two counts, domestic violence; entered guilty plea in February; on Dec. 14, 2016, knowingly caused or attempted to cause serious physical harm to a family or household member; placed on five years community control; fined $250; ordered to stay out of barns/taverns, not to possess or consume alcohol or illegal substance, complete batterer’s class. Failure to comply could result in 18-month prison sentence.
•Kenneth Thatcher, 30, Delta; originally indicted June 20, 2016, on one count, aggravated possession of drugs; on Oct. 11, 2015, possessed prescription painkiller Oxycodone; entered guilty plea in August 2016 to charge; sentenced to 11 months in prison; fined $200; ordered to pay cost of prosecution, attorney fees; driver license suspended for six months.
•Tiffany Thompson, 42, rural Delta; originally indicted Nov. 21, 2016, on one count each, possession of heroin, possession of cocaine; previously pled guilty to possession of heroin; on Oct. 7, 2016, possessed heroin; placed on five years community control; ordered to pay prosecution costs, complete drug court program. Failure to comply could result in 11-month prison sentence.
•Robert Stuart, 41, rural Delta; originally indicted Feb. 13 on 10 counts each, illegal use of a minor in a nudity-oriented material or performance, pandering sexually-oriented matter involving a minor; entered guilty plea to five counts, illegal use of a minor in a nudity-oriented material or performance; between Nov. 9, 2012 and Nov. 9, 2016, possessed or viewed materials that showed minors in a state of nudity; sentenced to 26 days at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, credit for five days served; placed on two years community control; fined $1,000; ordered to pay cost of prosecution, complete adult sex offender treatment program through Center for Child & Family Advocacy, have no use of the Internet other than work purposes; found to be a Tier I sex offender, must register address in person with sheriff of the county in which he resides with in-person verification for 15 years. Failure to comply could result in 11- month prison sentence.
