Four Pettisville students placed at the annual Ohio Academy of Science State Science Day.
Due to concerns about the Coronavirus, the event was held in a virtual format.
Instead of students traveling to Columbus to do inperson presentations of their projects and interviews with judges, students submitted written technical reports, three photos of their display boards, answers to a series of questions, and five-to-seven minute video presentations of their projects via the Internet.
The results were released Friday, June 12.
Madison Beck received an Excellent rating. Kelly Wyse earned a Superior and a Future Physicians Award with a cash prize.
The team project of Hollyn Klopfenstein & Grace Crawford was given a Superior.
