A man who lived in Archbold for a few months has been sentenced to six months in prison after entering a guilty plea to a charge of failure to register as a sexually oriented offender.
Donald Taylor, 68, who had a South Defiance Street address, was indicted on Sept. 21, 2010.
Taylor, who is classified as a sexually oriented offender under Ohio law, lived in Archbold between June 1 and Aug. 21, 2010.
During that time, he failed to register his address with the Fulton County Sheriff Department as required by law.
He entered a guilty plea in 2010, but then moved to Florida.
He was extradited from Florida to Ohio for sentencing.
