An arsonist apparently started a small fire in a flower box at a North Defiance Street home, Thursday, May 3.
The Archbold police report states a passerby informed Ed Wyrick, 74, 504 North Defiance Street, that a flower box at the home was on fire about 6:50 am. The fire was limited to the flower box and liner. Damage: $40.
It is not known how the fire started, or who may have started it.
The case is closed.
